Dr. Pete's Zone Technique is a form of healing designed to balance your brain and align your spine so that your body can restore itself to maximum health.
The human brain has six centers that form in the embryonic stage of development. These centers regulate and influence:
1. Your glands
2. Your elimination process
3. Your nervous system
4. Your digestive organs
5. Your muscle system
6. Your circulation
Think of your body like an electrical machine. Your six brain centers represent the positive pole, while specific points in the spinal cord represent the negative pole. When there is a disturbance in any of your bodily systems, one or more of these centers has “shorted out." When your body responds to emotional, physical, or chemical stress, you experience a disruption in the normal function of the entire center.
The results of these disruptions can create symptoms in the body—from headaches and pain, to indigestion, depression, insomnia, and everything in between.
Before Dr. Pete makes an adjustment, he feels six specific points on your head to determine which of your brain centers is out of harmony with the bodily systems they control.
When a brain center is not sending the proper signals to its system, all bodily functions associated with that system can suffer. In order to correct this, Dr. Pete stimulates specific points on your spinal cord with an adjustment.
Stimulation of the proper points sends healing energy up the spinal cord to the brain centers that need balancing. The balanced brain centers then can send out the proper signals to the body’s systems and the body is better able to heal itself.
This is what it means to balance your body.
1: The Glandular System
Balancing the glandular system can help with depression, focus, reproductive functions, energy levels, and the immune system.
2: The eliminative System
Your body's elimination system processes and eliminates toxins. Balancing it can help with asthma, sinus problems, allergies, skin conditions, constipation, and bladder issues.
3: The Nervous System
Balancing your nervous system can help boost your immune system, improve your sleep, help you relax, and improve the function of your eyes and ears.
4: The Digestive System
If you struggle with your weight or suffer from indigestion, heartburn, upset stomach, or chronic food allergies, balancing your digestive system can help.
5: The Muscular System
Balancing your muscular system can lead to the elimination of acute or chronic pain, improve your posture, and give you stronger balance.
6: THe Circulatory System
When your circulatory system is cleared, it can help balance your blood pressure, reduce your stress, eliminate stiffness, and boost your overall strength.
